Mr. Lester Gene Shadrick was born October 8th, 1946 in Back Gate, AR passed away on October 6th, 2020 in Fayetteville, AR Lester is proceeded in death by his parents, Otis and Viola (Abbott) Shadrick, six brothers, Alvin Shadrick, Arzell Shadrick, Arlene Shadrick, Eugene Shadrick, and two unnamed babies, three sisters Sylvie Reed, Imogene Merrell, Allene Hice, one son Clinton Lee Shadrick and one great grandson, William Judah Overton. He is survived by his wife of 53 years Wynonna Ophelia of the home, two sisters, Lillie Hipps of Fayetteville, AR, and Freda and Matt Partain of Fayetteville, AR. Five sons, Greg and his wife Melita Shadrick of Grayslake, IL, Shannon and his wife Nancy Shadrick of Sierra Vista, AZ, Cheston and his wife Carol Shadrick of Fayetteville, AR, Clayton and his wife Casey Shadrick of Springdale, AR, Timmy and his wife Cynthia Easter Shadrick of Siloam Springs, AR and one daughter Leslee and her husband Darrel Bohannan of Prairie Grove, AR. Nineteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren along with a host of other family members and friends alike. Lester worked and retired from the Greenland Public School system as the Transportation Supervisor. He was a fervent man who loved that community and the students he served. Lester was also minster of the Gospel and dedicated his life's work to bring all he knew to the Saving knowledge of His Savior Jesus Christ. Visitation will be held 5:00 to 7:00pm, Friday, October 9, 2020, at Living Faith Church in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Funeral service will be held 10:00am, Saturday, October 10, 2020, at Living Faith Church with burial to follow at Baptist Ford Cemetery in Greenland, Arkansas.
