Lillian, age 94, was born in Lemmon, SD on October 1, 1927 to Floyd LaRue and Lela Hannah LaRue. She passed from this life on September 25, 2022 at Ashley Rehabilitation & Health Center in Rogers, Arkansas. She grew up and attended School in North Lemmon, ND. After her marriage to Earl Gilbertson, they moved to White Butte, SD. Upon her husband's death, Lillian and her children, Jimmy and Peggie moved to Lemmon, SD. She then moved to Springfield, MO, after a short time moving to Rogers, AR. There she spent the remainder of her life. She was a very strong willed mother and grandmother who worked hard to support her family. Her greatest enjoyment in life was cuddling a baby. She loved those babies. Lillian was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lowell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl (Bud) Gilbertson; parents, Floyd and Lela LaRue; sisters, Molly LaRue, Lu Marty, Hazel Newell and Deloris Guizzetti. Lillian is survived by her brother, Larry LaRue (Shirley); son, Jimmy A. Gilbertson; daughter, Peggie Lee Bien (Ody); grandchildren, Cynthia Bien Coleman (John), Lance Gilbertson (Melissa), Gregory Bien (Amy), Chace Gilbertson (Layne), Emily Gilbertson, great grandchildren, Brodie Bien (Kendace), Bailey Bien, Hannah Stone, Shae Gilbertson, Cody Turner, Cassie Bettis (Will), Oliver Melton; great great grandchild, Parker Bien; several nieces and nephews and special friends, Titus, James, Megan Bridges and Brandon Spurlock. The family will receive guests at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:30 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3800 West Walnut, Rogers.
