Linda Hudson Wright, 65, of Gentry, Arkansas departed this life on Monday, April 8, 2019, after a fatal car accident on Highway 12 near Highfill, Arkansas. Linda entered this life on February 1, 1954, in Bentonville, Arkansas. She was a lifelong resident of Benton County, Arkansas. Linda married Charley Edward Meeker on May 29, 1970. They were blessed with two children, Dianna Lynn Meeker (Bush) and Michael Allen Meeker. She later married George William Wright in September of 1975. They were blessed with one daughter, Joanie Lea Wright (Bennett). She suffered throughout her life with rheumatoid arthritis and had to retire at a young age. That never stopped her from knocking out a wall and remodeling her house or joining family and friends for an outing in the sunshine. She never stopped trying to be surrounded by beautiful flowers and an updated home with sentimental knick knacks and family photos beautifully displayed. She loved music from all eras and genders. She would blast a rock and roll song from the 60's then play a new country song singing every word. She loved to travel, and family vacations were her favorite. She loved working hard to show pride in her home, which was enjoyed by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, family, and friends. She had recently moved from a one lot, two bedroom home in Gentry, Arkansas to a three and a half acre parcel of land out in the country. She made that sacrifice so that her children and grandchildren could have a "forever" home. Linda called this final home her "mountain". She was very proud that she could provide them with land to create their own home and a place to listen to the birds instead of a train. Those that knew Linda well SAW HER BIG HEART hidden beneath that stern exterior. She was very special in every way and will be missed by all of those that loved her. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Allen Meeker, both of her parents, and one brother. Linda is survived by her two daughters, Dianna Lynn Meeker, and Joanie Lea Wright (Bennett), her grandchildren, Justin Lee Robertson, Jessie Rdell Richard Rhodes, Christian Michael Scott Wright, Dusty Lee Jack Rhodes, and Alexis Lynda Leann Bennett, each residing near Gentry, six great grandchildren plus one on the way, five sisters, one brother, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, as well as a host of other family and friends.
