Lois Irene Mann, 95, a resident of Farmington, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 17, 2024. Born on August 27, 1928, in Enid, Oklahoma, to Joel Arthur and Enis Effie Himes Story, Lois built a fulfilling career as an office manager. Her organizational skills and attention to detail were highly valued by her colleagues. Over the years, she developed strong relationships with them, creating a positive and productive work environment. Her dedication and professionalism were an inspiration to those around her. However, her true passion resided with her family.

A dedicated participant in bowling leagues from her early 20s to her 70s, Lois thrived on the competition and the friendly atmosphere. Whether rolling strikes or cheering on her fellow bowlers, she brought warmth and laughter to everyone around her. Her love for her family was a constant source of joy. She cherished spending time with them, creating lasting memories through unforgettable moments. These moments included lively family gatherings filled with laughter and stories shared from generation to generation, cherished holiday traditions, and cozy evenings spent simply enjoying each other's company. A skilled seamstress with a meticulous touch, Lois also delighted in creating beautiful garments.

Lois was a woman of remarkable spirit. Demonstrating her adventurous nature and enthusiasm for life, she embarked on a thrilling tandem skydive to celebrate her 80th birthday.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Joel and Enis Story; husband, Lawrence Lee Mann; sister, Colleen Lites; and brother, Marvin Story.

Lois leaves behind a loving family to cherish her memory, including her daughter: Debra Nelms of Fayetteville, Arkansas; step-children, Brenda Scott (husband Greg) of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Scott Mann (wife Kim), Connie Howard (husband Charles), and Robin Herrera (husband Pete) all residing in Texas; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews, including Sandy Rodgers, Renee Wise, Wayne Story, and Michael Story.

Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Benton County Memorial Park & Funeral Home (479) 636-2412.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Her warmth, humor, and adventurous spirit will forever be a lasting memory.
