Nunnink
July 7, 1943 – January 16, 2025
Lois Marie Nunnink, 81, of Centerton, Arkansas, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2024, at Ashley Health and Rehabilitation in Rogers, Arkansas. She was born on July 7, 1943, in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, to the late Henry and Leah Miller Schaak. Mrs. Nunnink had a fun-loving, adventurous spirit that told the best stories. She enjoyed RV trips to the Colorado mountains, spoiling her grandkids, crafting with her hot glue gun, and cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs. She loved birdwatching and could often be found looking for yellow finches, cardinals, and hummingbirds. Lois also enjoyed bingo and card games, where she was often teased about her "card-counting" skills. Lois had the best laugh, who loved singing, and listing to opera music. In addition to her parents, Lois was preceded in death by her husband of over 30 years, Leonard Nunnink; great-grandson, Logan Jeffers; brother, Clyde Schaak.
She is survived by three daughters, Lori Michael and her husband, Dean, of Centerton, Arkansas; Leanna Lane and her husband, Steve, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Dawn Farr and her husband, Bruce, of Anchorage, Alaska; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren, and many beloved nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
