Long time Rogers resident, Lora Lea Wurzlow passed away January 22,2024 in Springdale, AR.
She was born October 12, 1940 in Galveston, TX, daughter of William Robert Wurzlow and
Elizabeth Horton Wurzlow. She is survived by her brother, Bill Wurzlow and his wife, Kathy
Wurzlow of Galveston. Lora Lea was preceded in death by her wife, Katherine (Kathy) Seeber in
April of 2023.

She lived in Rogers until July 2023, when she entered Edgewood Nursing Home in Springdale.
Lora Lea graduated from the University of Texas in Austin and was the first female licensed
physical therapist in the state of Arkansas. She enjoyed many hobbies over the years. She
raised, trained and showed Great Danes for several years, and was always an animal lover, with
she and Kathy sharing a house full of dogs, cats and birds. She was a talented artist, and painted
until the last days of her life. She recently taught art classes at the nursing home,

In the nursing home, she loved watching and identifying the birds at her bird feeder. She kept a
full candy dish and arms ready to hug her helpers. She painted pictures and gifted them to the
caregivers at Edgewood. She believed her final work here on earth was to treat everyone in her
life with kindness.
