Louis Wayne Smith, age 55 of Holiday Island, Arkansas and formerly of Deer, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at the Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Louis was born in Kansas City, Missouri on June 1, 1957 to Louis David and Norma Jean (Wright) Smith. Louis enjoyed the outdoors, camping, hunting, and fishing, and spending time with his family. Preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Amy Beth Smith; Louis is survived by his son, David Ray Smith of Holiday Island, Arkansas; four sisters, Reba Richardson of Bentonville, Arkansas; Mary Zacek of Harrison, Arkansas; Connie Lawrence and her husband Danny of Shell Knob, Missouri; Laura Peter and her husband Gary of Eureka Springs, Arkansas; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Memorial services will be 10:00 am, Saturday October 27, 2012 at the Holt Memorial Chapel (1904 Capps Road) in Harrison, Arkansas.
