Lyle Parker, 82 formerly of Mountain Home, AR died on August 31st in Rogers, AR. He was born in Atchison, Kansas on January 6th, 1940, to Edgar and Hazel Parker. He went to High School in Enid, OK. and received a bachelor's degree in business and accounting from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in 1962 where he played football. Lyle was a veteran, serving in the Navy from 1962-1964. He worked at Baxter Lab in Mountain Home for 27 years until retirement. Lyle was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing, and golfing in the Mountain Home area.
Lyle is survived by his wife of 60 years, Susan Parker, two Sons, Robert Parker (wife Debra) of Rogers, AR and David Parker (wife JaneAnne) of Cedar Rapids, IA. Lyle is also survived by 4 grandchildren, Christopher Parker, Michael Parker, Emma Parker, William Parker and one brother, Allen Parker of Enid, OK. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Jeff.
