Lyle Warren Smith, 69, passed away on December 14th, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Arkansas after a lengthy struggle with dementia. He was born on August 14, 1947, in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Basil Lavoy Smith and Edith O'dell Miller. He was the 9th child of 13. His family moved from Oklahoma to California when he was three years old, and it was there that he met and married his wife, Marsha Kay Tate, on May 21, 1966, at Grace Baptist Church in Fair Oaks, California. He was a licensed concrete contractor in Sacramento, California for many years, but his later years were spent traveling the world working in asset recovery up until the time of his illness. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Marsha, of Siloam Springs, AR, daughter Deanna Smith (Brian) of Siloam Springs, AR, son Kenneth Smith of Gentry, AR, sister Patsy Davis of Rogers, AR, sister Barbara Quinn (Mike) of Victorville, CA, sister Sue Eiler (Ralph) of Rialto, CA, sister Judi Murray (Gene) of San Bernardino, CA, brother Donnie Smith of North Highlands, CA, sister Linda Evans (Keith) of Lake Havasu, AZ, numerous loved nieces and nephews, and his most precious treasures, his granddaughters, Gracie and Katie Davis of Siloam Springs, AR. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Shirley, his brothers George, Tommy, Larry, Joe, and Jimmie, and his brother-in-law and best friend, Bill Sims. There will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations to the family to offset final expenses may be made. "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of GOD that is in Christ Jesus our LORD."
