Obituary

Madis Clare Donald, 73, of Rogers, Arkansas was born on December 15, 1951, in Los Angeles, California, to the late Clifton and Pauline Williams.

Madis was a hardworking and dedicated woman who spent her life building meaningful connections with those around her. She was the owner of Paperwerks Tax Service, a business she started in California that grew to serve clients in multiple states. In 2008, she expanded her business by opening a second office in Texas.

In 2013, Madis suffered a stroke that left her paralyzed, but her strength and determination never wavered. She lived with her daughter, Candi, who became her full-time caregiver for nearly seven years. In 2019, she moved to Arkansas to live with her son and daughter-in-law, Gibran and Brenda Donald until she moved to Ashley Nursing Home in Rogers.

Madis enjoyed life's simple pleasures. She loved gambling, playing bingo, and spending time with her family and friends. She had a warm and welcoming personality, and those who knew her often called her "Mom."

In addition to her parents, Madis was preceded in death by two brothers, Germain and Clifton Williams, and stepfather, Edward Porter.

She is survived by her three children, Candi Duvalliere of Las Vegas, Nevada, Gibran Donald of Gravette, Arkansas, Gideon Donald of Los Angeles, California; six grandchildren, Dameron, Gibran Jr, Maia, Gideon Jr, Tyler and Skyler; two sisters, Debra Maxwell of Inglewood, California, and Kiana Medina of Bakersfield, California.
