Manuela Nieto Estrada, 73, of Rogers, Arkansas, entered into glory Monday, August 3, 2026. She was born February 9, 1953, in Meoqui, Chihuahua, Mexico, to Amalia Nieto and Manuel Rivas. Raised by her maternal grandmother, Andrea, and her uncles in Delicias, Chihuahua, Mexico, Manuela learned from an early age to care for those around her. As the eldest granddaughter, she lovingly cared for her grandmother and younger cousins, a reflection of the servant's heart that would define her life. Around the age of 19, she moved to Marfa, Texas, where she met her first husband, Alvaro "Valo" Hernandez. Together they welcomed two children, Armando and Margie, before Valo's life was tragically cut short in a work accident. Four years later, Manuela married Juan Estrada, and together they welcomed three children, Jaime, Lynda, and Brenda. In 2008, she moved to Rogers, Arkansas, to be closer to her daughters. Although Manuela's life was filled with many hardships, her faith in Jesus Christ never wavered. Anyone who met her knew her faith was the foundation of her life. She opened her home whenever her church needed a place to gather, filling it with prayer, fellowship, and an abundance of homemade food. She was an extraordinary cook, known for her fresh flour tortillas, enchiladas, chile colorado con carne, fried chicken, meatloaf, and mashed potatoes. She spent countless hours reading her Bible, singing worship songs throughout her home, and faithfully praying over her children and grandchildren every day. She enjoyed visiting people in her community, shopping, and trying her hand at gardening, often laughing that she watered the street more than her plants. Even as her health declined, her quick smile, feisty spirit, and wonderful sense of humor never left her. In addition to her parents, Manuela was preceded in death by her first husband, Alvaro "Valo" Hernandez; her husband, Juan Estrada; and her daughter, Lynda Marie Estrada.

Manuela is survived by her son, Armando Hernandez and his wife, Jessie, of El Paso, Texas; daughters, Margie Ramirez and Brenda Estrada and her husband, Robert "Shane" Brown; son, Jaime Estrada and his wife, Melissa, of El Paso, Texas; grandchildren, Noah Hernandez, Alexis, Ayanna, Benjamin, Isaiah, Mya, Jackie, and Kaleb; brother, Ramon; along with many other beloved family members and friends who will miss her dearly.

Funeral services will take place at 3:30 p.m. Monday, August 10, 2026, at Benton County Memorial Park, 3800 W. Walnut Street, Rogers, Arkansas. A Celebration of Life in Manuela's honor is planned in Van Horn, Texas. Service details will be announced by the family at a later date.
