Margaret "Gigi" Orton, age 86 of Rogers, passed away August 14, 2023. Gigi was born November 6, 1936 in St. Francis, Kan., to parents, Cleo Brough and Drussill Brown Brough. She worked for many years as a nurses aide and enjoyed politics and history. Gigi especially enjoyed her family and sharing her faith in Christ.
Gigi was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harry Orton; one brother, Earl and one sister, Lorraine. She is survived by four children, Dru Sorey and husband Steve of New Market, Ala.; James Koons and wife Jeanette of Fayetteville, Marjorie Cunninham and husband Scott of Denver, Colo., Christina Everett of Fayetteville, Ark.; former spouse, Jim Koons and wife Billie Kay of Blanchard, Okla.; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial Services will be 10 a.m. Friday, August 18, 2023 at the Benton County Memorial Park & Funeral Home. 479-636-2412.
