Obituary

Margie Mae Ringer, age 65 of the Christie Community, Oklahoma and formerly of the Peavine and Bunch Communities in Oklahoma, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at her home. Margie was born in Barnsdall, Oklahoma on August 2, 1947 to Eli and Rena (Harris) Collins. On December 19, 1966 Margie married Don Ringer and they were married for over 45 years before his death in 2012. After years of managing the Hop-In store in Stilwell, Margie and Don owned and operated the Bunch Store for many years. Margie enjoyed reading, playing dominoes, going on long drives down the backroads, and spending time with her family. She loved being outdoors and working in her flower gardens and taking long walks with her grandkids. Preceded in death by her husband Don Ringer; her parents; four brothers, Bob,Ed,Amos and Andy Collins; three sisters, Ella Fetterhoff; Luella LeTournea; and Judy Bilby; Margie is survived by two daughters, Rena(Turn)Terrell and husband Tye of Westville; Rita Williams and husband Kenny of Watts; two brothers; Bud Collins of Stilwell; Randy Collins and wife Linda of Piedmont, Oklahoma; three sisters, Jean Baker and husband Kenny of Sperry, Oklahoma; Rosella Ware and husband Jack of Stilwell; Janet Reich and husband Doyle of Norman, Oklahoma; nine grandchildren, Eric Turn of Westville; Lani Ford and husband James of Westville; Matti Turn of Westville; Kevin Williams of Westville; Brandon Williams of Texas; Rachel Williams of Watts; Breanna Hawk and husband Chris of Stilwell; Alexandra Smith and husband Terry of Stilwell; Clifton Williams of Watts; three great grandchildren, Natalie, Ryder, and Alice; three brothers-in-law, Charles Ringer and wife Jane of Texas; Raymond Ringer and wife Diane of Texas; Terry Ringer and wife Becky of Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Celebration of Life services will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 27, 2013 at the Proctor First Baptist Church in Proctor, Oklahoma. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made to the Hospice of the Cherokee (918) 458-5080 or to the Gideon Bible at www.gideons.org in honor of Margie Mae Ringer.
