Margy Marie Henson, 73, of Springdale, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2024 in Springdale, Arkansas. She was born on January 9, 1951, to the late Jesse Oscar Perdue and Berika Mae Barker Perdue in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Margy loved to create different types of art with her hands. She was known for her bead making, crocheting, and embroidery. Margy was preceded in death by her first husband, Orville "Strawberry" Henson in 1986, her second husband, Ornice Henson in 2016, sisters, Margaret Meadors and Marilyn Seratt, and brother, Oscar Perdue.
She is survived by her children, Dottie Henson of Winslow, Arkansas, Tom Henson and wife Annie of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, Michael Henson of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Iris Collins and husband Roy of Springdale, Arkansas, Jeremiah Henson and wife Wendy of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Jim Henson of Grady, Arkansas, Snowflake Henson of Jasper, Arkansas, and Benjamin Henson of Clarksville, Arkansas; grandchildren, Jordan Clark, Collette Montgomery, Edward Montgomery III, Zackary Henson, Grace Henson, Tyler Cox, Riley Henson, Austin Henson, Leah Henson, Evelyn Collins, Jennifer Collins, Nicole Collins, Jordan Collins, Lucas Henson, Oliver Henson, Beatrice Henson, Amelia Henson, I'Aliyah Locket, Abigail Henson, Jha'miya Henson, Erika Ward, Noah Ward, Jasmine Reed, and Chloe Reed; great-grandchildren, Claire Printz, Harmony Lovejoy, Nathan Collins, Daisy Collins, Rockwell Clark, Juniper Clark, Aspen Clark, and Eleanor Clark; sisters, Linda George of Springdale, Arkansas, and Glenda Hatton of Alamo, Nevada; numerous other family members and friends.
Graveside service will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 7, 2025, at Fayetteville National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Arkansas with Pastor Heston McFatridge officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, January 6, 2025, at Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home in Rogers, Arkansas.
