Marilyn Louise Stephenson died peacefully on August 11, 2022 in Fayetteville, Arkansas at the age of 73. She is survived by her two children Dennis Stephenson Jr of Farmington and Sherry Renee Houston, her sibling, Lonnie Woodward and grandaughter, Megan Stephenson. Marilyn was preceded in death by her father, Deamos Woodward Sr., mother, Martha Mitchell, spouse, Dennis Paul Stephenson Sr, daughter, Marilyn Diane Stephenson, brother, Deamos Woodward Jr. and sister, Carol Mitchell.

Marilyn was born on March 31, 1949 in Fayetteville, Arkansas to Martha Mitchell. She Married Dennis Paul Stephenson. They Had 3 children: Marilyn Diane, Dennis Paul and Sherry Renee. Her family remembers her as a kind, gentle and driven mother who encouraged them to pursue their goals. She was an active and dedicated member of the Calvary Baptist church.
