Mr. Mark Gray, age 55, of Taylor, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2020, in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. He was born February 14, 1965 in Leachville, Arkansas to Troy Chester and Angie Mae Berry Gray. Mark graduated from Bradley High School in 1983, he attended the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville and completed his Bachelors degree in Business from Southern Arkansas University in 1987, from here he spent the next 30 years working for the State of Louisiana.
On June 24, 1989, Mark married the love of his life Jeanann Glasscock Gray and began their family being married for 31 years. He was an active member of Forest Grove Missionary Baptist Church, he loved his church family very much. He enjoyed singing in the scrap iron when he was able to, he sung in the seminary choir at LMBIS and attended six years in Faith Bible Institute. Marks greatest accomplishment was his family. Mark loved to spend time with his family and friends traveling. He enjoyed being a daredevil with his son-in-law by skydiving, parasailing, hiking, and snorkeling. He loved camping, cooking, gardening and watching the Arkansas Razorbacks play. He enjoyed cruising with his family, taking care of his grand-dog Luckie, walking her in the evening time. He picked up a new hobby of canning and putting up jams and jellies. He liked to try new recipes that he would see on the cooking channel for his family, he always made time to spend playing games and spending time with his daughter, he enjoyed making people laugh and smile.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, grandchildren, Tucker Colby and Emma Lou Nations and Father and Mother-in-law, Sonny and Martha Glasscock.
Mark is survived by his wife of 31 years, Jeanann Gray of Taylor, Arkansas, his pride and joy daughter, Jessie Gray Nations and husband Josh, sister, Becky Bolyer and his special aunt Sharlotte Mullins of Taylor, Arkansas, Brother-in-law Richard Glasscock and sister-in-laws, Ann Benefield of Taylor, Arkansas and Carolyn Glasscock of Springhill, Louisiana special niece's Cindy Glasscock, and Ashlee Russell and husband Matt and kids of Bentonville, Arkansas. Dee, Amanda and Wayne and numerous other nieces and nephews. Mark is also survived by special friends who were like family, Robert and Frannie Gildon of Springhill, LA, Hayley and Dusty Robinson of Stamps, AR, and William and Diantha Triplet of Keithville, LA.
Pallbearers will be Tommy Teague, Jerald Nations, Robert Gildon, Dusty Robinson, Wade Pickard, and Jeffery Rodgers. Honorary Pallbearers will be, Richard Glasscock and William Triplet.
The family request that donations can be made to the Children Miracle Network or Forest Grove Mission Fund.
Visitation will be held 5:00 to 9:00pm, Thursday, October 29, 2020 at Forest Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Taylor, Arkansas.
Funeral services will be held 2:00pm, Friday, October 30, 2020, at Forest Grove Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Joe Stacks, Bro. Chet Johnson and Bro. John Nations officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Grove Cemetery. Arrangements by Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, Rogers, Arkansas.
