Marvin D. Suggs, age 78 of Rogers passed away January 17, 2013. He was born March 11, 1934 in Alleene, Arkansas to parents Robert Jessie Suggs and Maryann Brail Suggs. Marvin was longtime resident of Northwest Arkansas and member of the Assembly of God Church. He enjoyed the outdoors as well as fishing and yardwork. Marvin was preceded in death by his longtime companion, Barbara Plunk in 2007, as well as his parents and three brothers. He is survived by his sisters, Lois Dutton, Sara Irving, Maudien Williams and Sherly Otter; nephews, Billy Craig and wife Ronda of Rogers, Jerry Ward of Mount Pleasant, Texas, Robby Joe Batherton and wife Samantha and their son, Robby Batherton Jr.; niece, Belva Stepp of Seligman, Missouri; step daughter, Joyce Brown; step grand daughter, Barbara Black; grandson, Ricky Brown and wife Sandy; best friend Jim Wigmore and a host of other relatives and friends. Graveside inurnment services are set for 2:00 P.M. Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Tucks Chapel Cemetery in Little Flock, Arkansas.
