Mary Corinne Criswell, age 98 of Bentonville, Arkansas passed away on Monday, August 7, 2023 at Promenade Health and Rehabilitation in Rogers, Arkansas. She was born September 25, 1924 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late William and Clara Ritter Bettien. She was a resident of Northwest Arkansas for 67 years after moving from Baltimore. Mary was a dedicated homemaker who took pride in taking care of her family. In her free time, she enjoyed crocheting, gardening and traveling. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family. Mary will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Louis E. Simmons Jr. of Pea Ridge, Arkansas; two grandsons, Randy Arnold of Stuttgart, Arkansas and David Lee Arnold of Bentonville, Arkansas; her brother, William Bettien Jr. of Baltimore and her sister, Rita Baunsinger of Baltimore.

Mary is survived by two daughters, Patricia Fisher of Farmington, Arkansas and Mary Douglas of Rogers; her brother, Bobby Bettien of Baltimore; a host of family and friends.

A memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Benton County Memorial Park, 3800 West Walnut Street, Rogers, Arkansas. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Benton County Memorial Park & Funeral Home (479) 636-2412.
