Obituary

Maxine McCasland Taylor, age 99, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2021. Maxine was born Mavis Maxine Allen on February 11, 1922 in Arlington, Texas to the late C.C. Allen and Trudie Huskerson Allen. She grew up in the Arlington area, where she met Dale McCasland. They moved to Arkansas and raised their sons, Kenny, Allen and Danny; until their divorce in 1973. In 1976, she married Bob Taylor; and was happily married for 25 years until his death in 2000.

While Maxine was tiny in stature, she made up for it in personality! She loved her family, had a strong work ethic, and never met a stranger. She owned and operated Arkansas Reality, was on the Arkansas Board of Realtors, and was named Realtor of the Year.

Maxine loved to bowl. She joined a bowling league and continued bowling until her early 90's. After retiring, Maxine loved gardening, working in her antique booths, playing the slot machines, and cheering on her Arkansas Razorbacks & Dallas Cowboys. Always with a quick wit and a ready smile, she will be missed dearly…and her family will hold on to the memory of her famous parting words, "Love you Lots!"

Maxine is survived by her sons; Kenneth McCasland (Linda), Allen McCasland (Debbie), Danny McCasland (Pam), and Jeff Taylor; her daughters Debbie Webb, and Rhonda Archer (Rick), several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bob Taylor, her four brothers M.L., Carlos, Hilton, and Mackey Allen.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, Dec. 10th at 11:00 a.m. at Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery in Rogers, Arkansas. The family would like to express our deepest appreciation and gratitude to all the staff of the Rogers Arkansas Health & Rehab Center for their loving care of Maxine over the past few years. We would also like to thank the staff of the Bentonville Circle of Life Hospice Facility for their wonderful care in her final days.
