Melvin Loy Yount, age 72, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 21, 2018 at this home. Melvin "Patch" was born August 17, 1945 in Bentonville, Arkansas to Robert and Edith Yount. He met the love of his life Jean Robbins and they were married August 7, 1965. Melvin was preceded in death by his parents, sister and half-brother. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, two sons; Tim and Melissa of Cassville, Missouri and Mark and Missy of Bentonville, Arkansas, nine grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Melvin has been a lifelong resident of Benton County Arkansas, currently a member of Victory Missionary Baptist Church of Gentry, Arkansas, ordained Deacon by Bro. J.N. Farish in September 1989, served on the Volunteer Fire Department of Cave Springs for several years, and worked for Benton County Road Department for the good of 20 years. Melvin was a true friend and loved to share the Gospel of Christ, he met no stranger. Through his actions Melvin portrayed unconditional love, humility, and unbounding wisdom. He always had a smile, firm hand shake and hug ready to give. Memorials will be made to the Gideons International Visitation 2:00 PM Sunday, June 24th, 2018
