Obituary

Michael Kent Clements was born on March 30, 1954 in Borger, Texas to Namon Ralph 'Mike' Clements and Imogene Kent Clements. He died suddenly on October 25, 2021 of complications from lung cancer and Parkinson's disease in Fort Smith, Arkansas.

"Big Mike" as he was affectionately known to his friends, was preceded in death by his parents Mike and Gene Clements, his wife Virginia 'Ginny' Clements and his beloved son Michael Paul Clements. Michael worked for Melvin Simon and Associates for many years as the Maintenance Supervisor at both the Wichita Mall in Wichita, Kansas and The Avenues Mall in Jacksonville, Florida. Mike retired from the maintenance department of Lowe's Home Improvement in Wichita.

He is survived by his daughter Kari Fenby and husband Adam of Fort Smith; a brother Rodney Clements and wife Charlotte of El Dorado, Kansas; three grandchildren Nick Fenby and wife Katie, Julie Fenby, and Kaygan Fenby; two great-grandchildren Anson and Zoie Fenby; a niece Kelly Clements and nephew Rusty Clements and wife Sarah. He also leaves behind his much-loved and spoiled dogs Jackson and Hank.

The life of "Big Mike" will be celebrated on Friday, October 29, 2021, in the Community Mausoleum at the Benton County Memorial Park located at 3800 W. Walnut Street in Rogers, Arkansas at 2:00 pm
