Michael Russell Eagon, age 73, of Bentonville passed away July 10, 2013. Mike was born March 20, 1940, in Madison, Wis., to parents Barnett Russell Eagon and Catherine Elaine Ryan Eagon. As a young man, Mike served in the United States Coast Guard and also attended the Wisconsin State College and Institute of Technology in Platteville. For many years he also worked as a truck driver and more recently as a driver for Pathfinder. He enjoyed all types of cars and motorcycles. Mike was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Judy Sneed Eagon of Checotah, Okla.; daughters, Maureen Eagon Reed and husband, Corey, of Rogers and Morgan Rose Sneed of Checotah, Okla.; son, Sean Patrick Eagon of Bella Vista; sister, Sheila Eagon Kava and husband, Don, of Boulder, Colo..; former spouse and mother to Maureen and Sean, Karen Simolke Eagon of Bella Vista; and his loyal dog, Fritz. Graveside services will take place 3 p.m. Friday, July 12, 2013, at the Holdenville Cemetery in Holdenville, Okla. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, 3800 W. Walnut, Rogers.
