Michael "Mike" Katowich, age 53, a resident of Springdale, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2011 at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale. Mike was born in Ft. Worth, Texas on January 27, 1958. He was a member of the Salvation Army in Fayetteville, Arkansas and worked for Tyson. On February 14, 1997 he married Kathy Tillman and they were married over 14 great years before Mike's death. Mike enjoyed playing his guitar, fishing, talking about hunting, and he especially loved spending time with his family and he will be missed very much. Mike is survived by his wife Kathy Katowich of the home in Springdale, Arkansas; his parents, James and Freida Katowich of Muskogee, Oklahoma; five brothers; two sisters; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Celebration of Life services will be at 2:00 pm, Saturday, September 24, 2011 at the Salvation Army in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
