Michael Larson, age 80, passed away October 23, 2020 in Rogers, Arkansas. Anyone who knew Mike knew quickly, he was his "own" man. Often referred to as "Mister" by his loving wife, Sharon, of more than 30 years. And, once you became his friend, you remained his friend for life. Mike graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1958, in Minneapolis, MN and entered into the Marine Corps, serving in Ten Thousand Palms, CA. He then returned to Minneapolis to begin a lucrative career in high end men's retail fashion. All the while, carrying a dream of someday owning a bar/restaurant with a unique name. While representing Ecklund's Men's Clothing in Minneapolis, he met a smart, sassy, well dressed, beautiful bookkeeper, Sharon. They became "acquaintances," as she explained to her family of three children. Mike and Sharon married in August 1982. Mike became an instant father to Sharon's two daughters, Andrine and Willon, and son, Greg. Life was full of adventures; drives throughout Minnesota, learning to golf, the purchase of a "Klub" in Waconia, MN which was the realization of Mike's dream, "Try This". Together, the pair ran a successful business, sponsored events, traveled the area to promote their business and other local bars, found time to enjoy golf , and found their haven on the island of Maui. They made sure to celebrate the small things in life. The love of family and friends. After travelling to the Bella Vista area during a golf trip, the couple decided to pick up roots and replant in Arkansas in 1996. Shortly after, "Mister", purchased his first Harley. Together, they have ridden over 65,000 miles seeing our America the Beautiful. A celebration of Mike's life will take place in the Spring of 2021 on Hilltop picnic area in Bella Vista, Arkansas. The family of Mike wishes to express their love and gratitude to the neighbors of Melinda Lane for their compassionate care. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, Rogers, Arkansas.
