Mrs. Nellie Irene Camden Shell was born April 24, 1943. She passed way on Saturday, August 1, 2020. Nellie was born to Golden and Beulah Camden in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. She was the third of five children. Her siblings include 1 sister; Kathy Green, and 3 brothers; Harold, Bob, and David Camden. Jerry and Nellie met at the skating rink in Jackson, Missouri. They were married on June 6, 1964, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. They began their married life in Columbia, Missouri. They lived in Warrenton, Missouri for 8 years, Benton, IL for 17 years and have lived in Bentonville, AR for the past 26 years. Nellie did not need to work outside the home, however raising those three boys was more tan enough to keep her busy. After moving to Arkansas, she opened the antique ship "Forever Favorites" for 7 years. Nellie loved cooking for her family and having others into their home. She loved gardening and had a knack for making everything beautiful. She is survived by her husband Jerry Shell of 56 years, of Bentonville. They had three sons together; Alan (Melissa) Shell of Nashville, TN, Tony (Sandra) Shell of Bella Vista, AR, and Randy (Amy) Shell of Bentonville, AR. Nellie's eight grandchildren were her pride and joy; Stephen, Spencer, Joshua, Emily, Rachel, Lauren, Madi and Reese. Visitation for Mrs. Shell will be 10:30 am, Tuesday, August 4, 2020, at Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, services will follow at 11:30, at Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial in Benton County Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Downtown Church of Christ Benevolence fund at P.O. Box 447 Rogers, Arkansas 72757.
