Ora Maurice Bowers, 80, of Rogers, Arkansas, passed away Monday, September 15, 2025, at his home.  He was born August 27, 1945, in Nashville, Kansas, to the late Elroy "Slim" and Novadea Martha League Bowers.  On May 30, 1973, he was married to Janice Rae Smith in Wichita, Kansas.  He worked as a flooring installer.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Darrel Bowers, Yvonne Shelman and Louella Waterman; son-in-law, Blaze Wegele and nephew, Kevin Shelman.

He is survived by his wife, Janice R. Bowers of Rogers; children, Dena and Greg Russell of Springdale, Arkansas, Cristina and John Carpenter of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Cassandra and John Ligi of Rogers and Karla and Fred Barker of Rogers; grandchildren, Tanner Wegele of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Shurelle and Corey Johnston of Cabot, Arkansas, Vanessa and Karoline Barker of Alabama, Cameron and Megan Umbarger of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Kole and Ryan Thomas of Mena, Arkansas.

Memorial service will be 5:00 p.m. Saturday, September 27, 2005, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1818 S 13th Street, Rogers, Arkansas 72756.

Cremation arrangements are under the care of Benton County Memorial Park & Funeral Home.
