Orval Lester Jones, age 95 of Bella Vista, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2023 at Concordia Health and Rehabilitation in Bella Vista. He was born on January 4, 1928 in Harrison, Arkansas to the late Dolpha Andrew Jones and Nancy Paul Jones. In January of 1948, he married the late Claire Piela Jones of Bella Vista in Fall River, Massachusetts. They were residents of Northwest Arkansas since 1988 before moving from Wilmington, Delaware. Lester had a passion for building homes from the ground up. He was described by his family as a "closet carpenter" and an avid golfer. He was very people oriented and highly involved with his Church. He was liked by everyone and no one had a bad word to say about Mr. Jones. Lester never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by four brothers; Cecil and Vernon Jones, both of Harrison, Arlin Jones of Fayetteville and Basil Jones of Wichita, Kansas.

He is survived by two sons; Scott and Michael Jones, both of Harrison and one grandson, Levon Jones, of Harrison.
