IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Pamela Josephine
Brinton
February 3, 1947 – December 15, 2025
Pamela Josephine (Beran) Brinton, known to all as Pam, passed away peacefully December 15, 2025, in Bentonville, Arkansas, surrounded by the love that she so freely gave to others throughout her life. She was born February 3, 1947, in Eldora, Iowa, to the late Virgil Eugene Beran and Erma Pauline Vickre Beran.
She grew up in Garden City and was a proud graduate of Radcliffe High School. Pam continued her education at Luther College, a time that would shape her future in more ways than one. It was there that she met the love of her life, Bob. Though they had grown up only twelve miles apart, Pam in Garden City and Bob in Ellsworth, it took moving to Decorah for their paths to finally cross. They built a life together defined by shared passion and partnership, residing in Clarion, Iowa, from the early 1970s until the early 2000s.
A lifelong enthusiast of athletics, Pam took great pride in her own athleticism and found joy in supporting the competitors around her. She and Bob were fixtures on the sidelines, cheering on local athletes and steadfastly supporting their daughter, Andrea's, career throughout her college years and subsequent coaching career. Pam loved the energy of the game and the dedication of the players, especially that of her grandchildren.
In their retirement years, Pam and Bob split their time between Ames, Iowa, and a home in Florida, enjoying the relaxation and fun they had earned. Following Bob's passing in 2023, Pam moved to Arkansas to be closer to her daughter, Andrea, and her wife, Trinke.
Pam was a woman who appreciated the "nice things" in life, not just material comforts, but the beauty of generosity and care and kindness. She spent a lifetime sharing that abundance. Pam's final years in Arkansas were filled with the genuine love and daily kindness provided by Andrea and Trinke. This circle of care was widened by the compassionate staff and great friends at Village on the Park of Rogers, Mercy Hospital and Hampton Place. The family extends a special gratitude to Circle of Life for their exceptional tenderness and support during her final journey.
In addition to her parents, Pam was preceded in death by her beloved husband of fifty-four years, Robert "Bob" Wayne Brinton. Pam is survived by her devoted daughter, Andrea, and her wife Trinke; her sister, Paula Bruce; her nephew, Chad Michael Klug; her niece, Morgan Renae Dornfeldt (EJ); great-niece, Avery Dornfeldt; great-nephew, Reed Dornfeldt; two other daughters, Amanda and Amber and eight grandchildren.
The family requests donations be made to Alzheimer's research, The Circle of Life or a battered women's program in your local area. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Benton County Memorial Park & Funeral Home.
