Patricia Taylor Mosier recently of Bentonville, Arkansas passed away surrounded by family on Sunday, September 10, 2023. She was born on March 11, 1938 in Atlanta, Georgia to James and Patricia Taylor, the eldest of six children and grew up in Scarsdale, NY. Following graduation from The Ursuline School in New Rochelle and Manhattanville College of the Sacred Heart, newly married and following a brief career in banking in New York City, Patsy moved to Atlanta where she raised her family. With a lifelong interest in the arts, she pursued a career at
several notable Atlanta-area museums, including The High Museum of Art, The Atlanta History Center, and the Museum of History and Holocaust Education at Kennesaw State University.
She is survived by a large and loving family, including her children, William Mosier (Lindsay) of Bentonville, Arkansas, Christina Mosier of Durango, Colorado, and Bradley Wright (Adrienne) of Goshen, Connecticut; grandchildren, Dylan & Amp; Evelyn Wright and Olivia Mosier; siblings James Taylor of Santa Rosa, CA, Mary Jane Reisler (Charles) of Short Hills, NJ), Denis Taylor of New Rochelle, Kevin Taylor (PJ) of New Canaan, CT) and Thomas Taylor (Terry) of White Plains, NY. Patsy loved to travel, visiting her far-flung family, exploring museums here and abroad, she was an inveterate bridge player and opera devotee. In later years, upon retirement she was a generous volunteer at a number of organizations including serving seniors at Atlanta-area respite care facilities. A devoted mother, a caring grandmother, a supportive sister, a loyal friend, and a tireless doer of good deeds, Pasty placed her family at the forefront of her life. She will be remembered for her spirit, her sense of humor, her intelligence and her strong perseverance in overcoming any and all of life's challenges. She will be greatly missed.
A celebration of Patsy's life will take place later this fall. Cremation arrangement are under the direction of Benton County Memorial Park and Funeral Home (479) 636-2412.
