Patricia Ann (Martin) Vierck of Pea Ridge, Arkansas passed away suddenly on November 26, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Arkansas. She was born on March 21, 1937 in New York City, New York and moved frequently throughout her childhood until her family settled in St. Louis, Missouri. She worked for many years at the University of Missouri—St. Louis. After retiring, she moved to Pea Ridge, Arkansas to be near her mother and extended family.

Patty was a devout Christian who gave generously to her favorite charities. She was a devoted wife, daughter, sister and aunt, always thinking of others. She loved classic Hollywood movies as well as British productions, and would often stay up late into the morning riveted by her favorite films.

She will be missed by many, including her two stepdaughters, Barbara Cook and Peggy Wunder; her loving only sibling, Mary Lou Chipongian; her nephew, Ken Chipongian (Ann) and great-nephew, Aiden; her nieces, Laura Annis (Matt) and Lisa Chipongian (Debra); her cousin, Clara Ruth Seagroves; and Alice Crabtree and family. She will be deeply missed by family members and friends, more than she knew.

She was preceded in death by her husband, David Vierck; her mother and father, Edna (nee Crabtree) and Eddie Martin; her brother-in-law, Raul Arbilo Chipongian; her uncle, Charles Crabtree; her aunts, Nadine Crabtree and Emma Lou Pamplin; and her grandparents, Dove (nee Beaver) and Charles Crabtree.

A memorial service will take place in St. Louis, Missouri at a later date.
