Mrs. Patsy Jane Goates, age 82, of Springdale, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2019, at Jamestown Nursing and Rehab in Rogers, Arkansas. She was born August 6, 1936 in Akron, Ohio to Jack and Ruth Miller Long. Mrs. Goates was retired from Walmart Corporate office in Bentonville. Mrs. Goates was preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Nancy Shaw and a granddaughter Melissa Shaw. Mrs. Goates is survived by her husband Thomas Goates, daughter Carol and husband Frank Simpson, grandchildren, Krystle Johnston, Kristina Fuller, and Irene Wilson, great-grandchildren, Lucas, Lunden, Lathan, Jeremiah, and Amellia.
