Paul "David" Goodin, 86, of Bentonville, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, September 13, 2025 in Bentonville. He was born August 2, 1939, in Batesville, Arkansas to the late John Alec and Nellie Marie Cartwright Goodin. On July 15, 1960, David married Sharon Sue Talley in Batesville. After living in Cabot, David and Sharon moved to Northwest Arkansas where they would spend the next twenty years of their lives together. They attended Cave Springs Church of Christ. David was an avid Arkansas Razorbacks, St. Louis Cardinals, Dallas Cowboys and Kansas City Chiefs fan. He was most of all a proud father and grandfather. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Sue Millikin and brother, John Goodin.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Talley Goodin; son, Paul David Goodin, Jr. of Bentonville; two sisters, Jane Musick of Searcy, Arkansas and Sandra Larson of Swartz Creek, Michigan; one brother, Howard (Marilyn) Goodin of Gaylord, Michigan; three grandchildren, Tyler (Devon) Goodin of Bentonville, Lyndee Goodin of Bentonville and Kelsey (Corey) Armes of Pea Ridge, Arkansas and one brother-in-law, Dwayne Millikin of Oil Trough, Arkansas.

Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 19, 2025, at Cave Springs Church of Christ with Brother Travis Harbin officiating.

Cremation arrangements are under the care of Benton County Memorial Park & Funeral Home.
