Peggy Williams, age 73, a resident of Rogers, AR and formerly of Anderson, MO, passed away Monday, July 19, 2010 at her home in Rogers, AR. Peggy was born in Sylva, NC on February 13, 1937 to Ode and Bonnie (Mills) Cope. She was a member of the Auxiliary Fleet Reserve Association and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary. Peggy really enjoyed playing bingo, taking care of her flowers, gardening, feeding hummingbirds, watching deer, and spending time with her family. Preceded in death by her parents, Peggy is survived by her domestic partner, John Eastin of the home in Rogers, AR; four sons, Donald Cope of Sylva, NC; Mitch Alexander of Garfield, AR; David Alexander and wife Marnee' of Rogers, AR; James Hilger, Jr. of AR; three brothers, Jack Cope and wife Pauline of NC; James R. Cope of NC; Dan Cope and wife Suzie of NC; five sisters, Irene Mills of NC; Mary Ida of NC; Dorothy Freeman of NC; Sue Felkins of MO; Joyce Plemmons of TN; three grandchildren, Jeremy, Johnathan, Christopher; three great grandchildren, Mya, Kenna, Kyra; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Services for Peggy Williams will be on Thursday, July 22, 2010 at 2:00 pm at the Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel (3800 W. Walnut, Rogers, AR 72758) with Chaplain Audie Long officiating. Interment will follow at Benton County Memorial Park. Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 21, 2010 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Benton County Memorial Park in Rogers, AR. Visitation 5:00 PM Wednesday, July 21st, 2010
