Perdy Peter Samson, 73, of Rogers, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at his home in Rogers. He was born October 21, 1952, on the Island of Pingelap, Micronesia, to parents Peter and Sarihna Samson. He married the love of his life, Makilina Saimon. Together they raised three children. Perdy was called to ministry and served as a pastor and teacher in Micronesia. In 1997, Perdy and Makilina chose to relocate to the United States while he was working on his Master's in Early Childhood Education at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. He loved spear fishing and was known to hold his breath for minutes on end. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Makilina.

He is survived by his three children: Olson Samson of Noel, Missouri; Connie Hadley of Anderson, Missouri; and Betty Samson of Rogers, Arkansas.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 7, 2026, at First Christian Church, 905 S. 13th St., Rogers, Arkansas.
