Peter Hubert Verhulst Peter Hubert Verhulst, age 71, a resident of Bella Vista, formerly of Tulsa, Oklahoma, passed away Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center in Rogers. Peter was born in Vaals, Netherlands on July 23, 1938 to Hubert and Gertrude Verhulst. Peter enjoyed soccer, boating, playing cards, golfing, and cooking. Peter worked as a chef and was active with the German American Club of Tulsa and enjoyed spending time with his family. Preceded in death by his parents, Peter is survived by his wife of 25 years, Ute Parker of the home in Bella Vista; two sons, Jorg Koenig of Bentonville; Siegfried Koenig of Fayetteville; six daughters, Margit Deerman and husband Mike of California; Sylvia Campos and husband Chris of New Jersey; Marlow Jenson and husband Matthew of Arizona; Karen Strenzl and husband Franz of Germany; Ulrike Shakia and husband Jim of Bella Vista; Angelika Scarinci and husband Gorge of Canada; ten grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
