Ralph Lester Johnson, age 74 of Rogers, passed away August 1, 2021. Ralph was born March 13, 1947 in Elmhurst, Illinois to parents Robert Johnson and June Helgeson Johnson. He grew up in River Grove, Illinois and attended River Grove Bible Church. In May of 1962 Ralph attended a Billy Graham Crusade in Chicago and received Jesus as his Savior. As a young man Ralph worked at Wilson Sporting Goods and Mars Candy. He went on to join the U.S. Air Force serving tours of duty in South Korea, Okinawa and Vietnam. Ralph was a talented mechanic and worked for the Pace Bus Company until 1986 when he moved to Rogers. From 1987 to 2010 he worked at J.B. Hunt Truck Lines. Ralph was a member, usher, and Church Custodian at Grace Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Susan of the home; sons, Nathaniel Davenport and wife Samantha and Andrew Davenport and wife Kathy; one brother, Roger Johnson and wife Ruth of Wisconsin and two grandchildren, Benjamin and Autumn Davenport. Memorial Services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Saturday, August 7, 2021 at the Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home of Rogers.
