Raymond Dale Moppin, age 73 of Bella Vista, passed away February 21, 2012. Raymond was born May 27, 1938 in Hasty, Arkansas to parents Raymond and Josephine Moppin. He was united in marriage to Joyce Refner on June 7, 1958 in Dallas, Georgia. Raymond was a member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Bentonville, a veteran of the United States Army 82nd Airborne and a member of the American Legion. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus and Jelly Bellies Golf. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jerry L. Moppin and Sammy K. Moppin and sister, Jean Ann Moppin. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Moppin of the home; sons, Jeffery and wife Tera of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Gregory of Bella Vista, Douglas and wife Kim of Bella Vista; brothers, Charles and Joe Ray; sisters, Beverly Harper and Sue Johnson; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Memorial services are set for 10:00 A.M., Saturday, February 25, 2012 at St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Bentonville. The family has asked, that in lieu of flowers that gifts be made to Joyce Moppin, care of Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home of Rogers, P.O.
