Renate Anna Maria Sperlich, 79, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2026, in Bentonville, Arkansas. She was born April 20, 1947, in Vienna, Austria, to the late Adolf and Danica Sperlich. Renate relocated to the United States in 1972. She was a Christian and a devoted homemaker who was always making something with her hands, whether she was sewing, knitting, crocheting, painting, or drawing, and she had a gift for interior decorating. She loved a good book and found real joy in opera. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Daniella Mora; and her former husband, Emil Haider.

She is survived by her daughter, Caroline Sharp and her husband, Maurice, of Granby, Colorado; son, Michael Haider and his wife, Beth, of Bella Vista, Arkansas; granddaughter, Kimberly Lee; great-granddaughter, Maci Lee; brothers, Alfred and Walter Sperlich; and many other beloved nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Benton County Memorial Park & Funeral Home.
