Rex Glenn Deason, age 76, a longtime resident of Rogers, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at the Circle of Life Legacy Village Hospice in Bentonville, Arkansas Rex was born in Rogers, Arkansas on August 17, 1934 to Glenn and Mary Ann (Howard) Deason. Rex served his country in the United States Army and worked as a heavy equipment operator for many years. On April 20, 1959 he married Darlene Koch in Springdale, Arkansas and they were married for over 51 years. Rex enjoyed the outdoors and was a very devoted husband, father, and grandpa who loved the Lord very much. His family was his pride and joy and he will be missed greatly. Preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Mary Ann Deason; Rex is survived by his wife, Darlene Deason of the home in Rogers, Arkansas; two sons, Rodney Deason and his wife Carla of Gravette, Arkansas; Randy Deason of Tontitown, Arkansas; twelve grandchildren; numerous friends and other relatives. The family of Rex Glenn Deason will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home in Rogers, Arkansas. There will be private family graveside services with Brother Anthony Lane and Brother Kelly Yarbrough officiating.
