Obituary

Richard "Rick" Wayne Brindley, 46, of Fayetteville, Arkansas, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 27, 2025. He was born on November 24, 1978 in Grand Prairie, Texas to Larry Mandrell and Georgia Piggott. Rick was a man of deep faith and compassion. He was active in his church, The Salvation Army of Fayetteville, where he poured his time and energy into serving others. Rick had a gift for connecting with people and a heart that welcomed everyone he met. Much of his life was dedicated to mentoring those in recovery, offering encouragement, hope, and a listening ear. Rick's calling to serve extended into his work as Director of Shelters NWA for The Salvation Army, where his leadership and kindness touched countless lives. He will be remembered for his unwavering generosity, his laughter, and his love for helping others find their way. Rick's legacy of love, service, and faith will live on in the many lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

He is survived by his beloved wife of eight years, Ruby Brindley; six children; thirteen grandchildren; two nieces; one great nephew and a godson that meant the world to him, as well as numerous beloved family and friends.

A celebration of Rick's life will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 4, 2025 at The Salvation Army, 219 S. 15th St., Fayetteville, AR.

The family requests that donations be made in Rick's memory to The Salvation Army Fayetteville Corps .
