Richard Earl Farmer, 89, of Bentonville, Arkansas passed away March 14, 2025 in Centerton, Arkansas. He was born on September 20, 1935 in Girard, Kansas to the late Kenneth and Nadine Farmer. Richard enjoyed fishing and was known for being a hard worker. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Kevin Tyler Farmer, and his brother, John Farmer.

He is survived by his wife, LaVeta Farmer, of the home; two children, Kevin Farmer and his wife Shelly of Centerton, and Carol Bishop and her husband Jerry of Polo, Missouri; five grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; one sister, Marjorie Ann Jones of Girard, Kansas.

Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday March 27, 2025 at Benton County Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Rogers, Arkansas. The family request memorial contributions be made to Sunshine School and Development Center in Rogers, Arkansas in Richard's name.
