Rickey Jordan, age 68 of Rogers, AR died January 19 at his home. He was born December 7, 1946 in Rogers to Ray and Mary Ellen Jordan who preceded him in death as well as his wife of 37 years, Frances Jordan. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Lloyd and James Jordan and a sister Virginia Allen. He is survived by his wife, Linda Ford-Jordan; a daughter and son in law, Nanete and Julian Lovell, step-sons, David and Kenneth Way; step daughter, Laura Rice; two brothers, Fred and Delbert Jordan; a sister, Beverly Wilson; two grandchildren Christina and Alex Lovell and 8 step-grandchildren and 9 step great grandchildren. Rickey entered into the United States Navy in 1964 and served in Vietnam. He graduated from WestArk Community College in Fort Smith. He worked as a sprinkler system analyst for many years and later worked at Harris Baking Company in Rogers, during which he also got a Bakery Engineering Degree from AIB in Manhattan, KS. He later retired from Harris Bakery. He was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 3031. He was a proud Bronze Legacy Life Member VFW, and a member of Am Vets. Rickey was a Past District Commander of District 1 and served 5 years as Senior Vice Commander of both Post 3031 and District 1. He was also a volunteer at the VA Hospital for 4 years. Memorial services will be held at the VFW Post 3031 in Rogers on January 23 at 1 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Benton County Memorial Funeral Home, Rogers.
