Robert Joesph Mathias (Bob) age 74 of Siloam Springs Arkansas passed away Saturday May 16th, 2026 at his home. Bob was born April 20th, 1952 to Carl Bergmann and Caroline Hackel in Wisconsin.
He was an entrepreneur and ran his own businesses that ranged from PR work to owning a race track to a car dealership owner. Bob loved racing and not only worked and built race cars, but raced stock cars for 21 years. He loved to build things and would build chairs, tables, benches and even chests. Especially for his grandkids. But he always loved his family first. Family was the most important thing to him.
He is proceeded in death by his parents Carl and Caroline (Hackel) Bergmann of Wisconsin as well as his older sister Nancy Bergmann of Wisconsin.
Bob is survived by his loving wife of 32 years Charlene Mathias of the home. One son Charles Acker and wife Mary of Siloam Springs Ar., Three daughters Victoria Hill and husband Caleb of Farmington, Ar., Bobbi Jo Issacson of Springdale, Ar. and Beth Crilley and husband Joesph of Pennsylvania. One brother Carl (Zeke) Bergmann Jr. of Wisconsin and one sister Carol Bergmann of Florida. Five grandchildren Brittany Sluyter and husband Nicholas of Farmington, Ar., Madison Hill of Farmington Ar., Tyler Crilley and wife Alyssa of Pennsylvania, Dakota Bowen of Springdale, Ar., and Justin Crilley of Pennsylvania. Four great grandchildren Elijah Mathias of Farmington ,Ar., Kayson, Haiden and Layla Crilley of Pennsylvania.
