Robert “Bob” Miller, 87, of Lowell, Arkansas, passed away March 12, 2026, with his daughters by his side. He was born in November 1938 to Jimmy and Verna Miller of California. Bob was a member of Rocky Branch Baptist Church in Rogers, Arkansas.

Bob served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam era aboard the USS Hamaul. Following his military service, he began a career with Avery Otis Elevator, where he worked from 1964 until his retirement in 1986. He later made his home on Beaver Lake with his beloved wife, Shirley.

Bob had a passion for building classic cars, from Model A’s to dune buggies, with his favorite being his 1955 Chevy. Throughout his life, he enjoyed riding horses, boating, fishing, duck hunting, attending car shows, and cruising the coast in his classic cars with family. When Bob and Arlyn weren’t in the garage “tinkering,” he found joy in life’s simple moments—spending time with family and friends, playing cards, watching Arkansas Razorbacks basketball, and especially Sunday dinners. He was known for making homemade ice cream, grilling, and his love of anything spicy. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 50 years, Shirley, and his son, Ricky.

Bob is survived by his children, Dee, Kenny, Steve, Denise, and Arlyn; Bucky, Robin, and Heidi; Gail, Todd, Sarah, and Amanda; along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Jimmy Miller and his wife, Leann.

A celebration of Bob’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on May 2, 2026, at Rocky Branch Baptist Church, 19956 Rocky Branch Road, Rogers, Arkansas.
