Robert Sylvester Phillips Jr., 76, of Garfield, Arkansas passed away on Friday, January 24, 2025. He was born on September 14, 1948 in Britton, South Dakota to the late Robert Phillips Sr. and Darlene Umberger Phillips. On September 4, 2004 Robert married his loving wife, Janet Hartgrove in Gravette, Arkansas. Robert enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, and playing the drums. He loved having cookouts, drinking beer, and spending time with his family. Known for his fun-loving personality, Robert was always the life of the party. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Jackie Farrell; two grandchildren, Bobby Sprinkle and Kristy Mancel; four brothers, David, Charley, Donald, and James Edward.

Robert is survived by his wife, Janet Phillips; five children, Robert S. Phillips III and his wife Sandy; their children, Thomas, Jason, Samantha D., Kyle, and Samantha L., all of Pangburn, Arkansas, Pete Phillips and his wife Lori; their children, Shannon, Dekota, Jared, Breanna, Brier, Paul, and Felica, all of Anderson, Missouri, Doug Phillips and wife Brandy; their children, Breanna, Aaden, Zayden, Jocelynn, and Ava, all of Bald Knob, Arkansas, Valerie Mancel of Garfield, Arkansas, and Mia Smith, and her children, Steven, Kelsea, and CJ, all of Beech Grove, Arkansas; twenty-one great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; sister, Pat; two sister in-laws, Linda and Rhonda; aunt, Joyce, numerous nieces, nephews, and other beloved family and friends.
