Robert Donald Royer, 92, of Rogers, Arkansas, passed away Friday, April 3, 2026. He was born June 24, 1933, in Lewiston, Maine, to Wilfred and Yvonne Royer in the French-Canadian community known as “Little Canada.”

Robert served honorably as a Corporal in the United States Army during the Korean War era, spending part of his service in Japan. Following his military service, he graduated from UCLA in Los Angeles, California, and later pursued a career in retail.

Robert was married to his beloved wife for 59 years until her passing in 2024. He had a passion for photography, a love for traveling the world, and a talent for landscaping. His beautifully kept yard reflected his care and creativity, earning him “Yard of the Month.” His life was defined by integrity, kindness, loyalty, and hard work. He was known for his knowledge and his constant willingness to help others. His legacy will live on as a man who gave without expecting anything in return and whose selflessness made the world a better place.

In addition to his wife, Robert was preceded in death by his parents.

Robert is survived by two daughters, Julie Gayler and Susan Curry; three grandchildren, Tyler Baker, Janelle Gayler, and Lee Lackie; and five great-grandchildren, Ricky Hardwick, Shaylee Lackie, Ben Lackie, Lily Lackie, and Abel Long, all of Rogers, Arkansas.

Memorial services will be held privately for the family. Flowers may be sent Friday, April 10, 2026, to Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home Chapel.
