Roberto was born Izalco, Sonsonate, El Salvador to Sebastian Nerio and Encarnacion Duran on 12/31/1940. He married Marta Goria Aragon on 1966 in Santa Ana, El Salvador. Roberto migrated to the US in the late 80's and lived in Los Angeles, CA during his time there he became a US Citizen and fulfilled many of the American dream milestones. He worked as a clothing tailor during his time in El Salvador and in the LA in a company called FreshJive. When he moved to NWA in late 2004, he later joined the poultry industry and worked his remaining years with Tyson Chicken of Noel, MO for a combined estimate of 9 years. He was involved in Asambleas de Dios churches in El Salvador and in the US where he often held the role of a deacon. Mr. Duran was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Marta Gloria Aragon de Duran, brother, Rodolfo Duran, sisters, Maria Julia Duran, and Tina Duran. Fur grandchildren, Chumelo Galdamez and Snickerdoodles Galdamez. Mr. Duran is survived by his daughters, Nidia Deysi Galdamez and husband Jose Ernesto of Siloam Springs, Arkansas and Sinia Margarita Galdamez and husband Angel of Gaithersbur, MD. Sister, Angela Duran San Julian of Sonsonate, El Salvador. Grandchildren, Damaris Galdames, Cinia Galdames, Jose Ernesto Galdamez, Jr, Nancy E. Galdamez, Alejandra Galdamez and Gabriela Galdamaez. Fur Grandchild, Cronus Galdames. Great-Grandchildren, Caesar Augustus Ardon, Romeo Osiris Ardon, Äralese Alexandra Ardon, Sebastian Roberto Galdamez. Friends and family he was a father figure to; Ana Diaz, Violeta Marisela Diaz Duran, Vilma Gutiérrez and Blanca Dura. Visitation will be held 5:00pm to 10:00pm, Friday, October 2, 2020 at the church. Funeral services will be held 2:00pm, Saturday October 3, 2020, at Centro Cristiano Aliento De Vida 636 E 1st St, Gentry, AR 72734, with Luis Arenas officiating burial will follow Saturday, October 3, 2020, 4:00pm, at Gentry Cemetery.
