Rocky L. Shields, age 65, of Siloam Springs, AR died Sunday, October 19,2014 in Siloam Springs Regional Hospital. He was born October 9, 1949 in Wichita Kansas to Charles Henry and Thelma Grace Rice Shields who preceded him in death along with a brother Leroy Shields, a sister, Brenda Shields, twin grandchildren William Jackson and Sypress Marie Stewart . Rocky was a tow truck driver, a certified nurse assistant, oil field worker and he also worked in the mines. He and Lisa Kough were married July 6, 1993 in Miami, OK. He is survived by his wife, Lisa of the home; sons, Dusty Bone of Saratoga, WY; Lynn Bowely of Indiana, Jerry Bone of Siloam Springs, Joseph James Bone of Wichita, KS, Donald Gross of Arkansas, Richard Thornton of Fort Leonard Wood, MO, Truman Gross of Arkansas and Anthony Thornton of Haven, KS; daughters, Anneta Bower of IN, Roxanne Stewart of Siloam Springs, and LaWanna Belgrade of KS; sisters, Freda Haffin of Wichita, KS, Helen English of Wichita, KS, Diane Cauffman of New Mexico, Kay English of Winslow, AR and brothers, Larry Shields of Siloam Springs, AR and Archie Shields of Calico Rock, AR; 24 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Arrangements are under the direction of Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home, Rogers, AR.
