Rodger was born on Aug. 12,1965 in Newton,Iowa and passed away Aug. 15, 2015 at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, AR. He was the son of Richard and Phyllis (Adams) Hasselman of Newton. He was a graduate of Newton High School, class of 1984. He was the manager and student trainer of the football team. After school he worked in the construction field and the carpentry business. He attended Calvary Chapel in the Osarks in Rogers,AR. where he was a devoted member of the congregation. He loved helping people and loved Maid-Rites. He is survived by brother Sean Clements , aunt Pansy House, many cousins,and several nieces and nephews, Foster Parents Nile and Donna McCoy,brother Ryan McCoy ,Stephen (Jen) McCoy and Lauren and special friends Jim and Genise Hallisey. Preceded in death by his parents ,sister Kim Dix, brothers Richard Burnett and Doug Hasselman.
