Roy William Sybrant, age 86 of Prairie Grove, Arkansas passed away September 25, 2012. Roy was born January 5, 1926 in Jose, Nebraska to parents Henry and Freda Sybrant. He was a veteran of the United States Army and worked for many years as an electrician. Roy was a member of the Church of God Seventh Day and enjoyed attending auctions. He was also known for riding his bike, which he did well into his 80's. Roy was preceded in death by his parents, as well as two sisters, Jane Moore and Zelda Allen. He is survived by wife, Laura Sybrant of Prairie Grove; sons, Arthur Sybrant and wife Sheila, Douglas Sybrant and wife Cheryl, James Sybrant; daughters, Annette "Annie" Meaders and husband Mick, Freda Wilson and husband Tommy, Dora Johnson and husband Jim; ten grandchildren, four great grandchildren and nephews, Jimmy Moore and Claude Moore. Graveside services, will be 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 28, 2012 at Fall Creek Cemetery in Strickler, Arkansas. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5:30 to 7:30 P.M. at the Prairie Grove Christian Church youth building in Prairie Grove, Arkansas. Family will receive guests after the Graveside Service at the Fall Creek Church Fellowship Hall in Strickler. Arrangements are with Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home of Rogers.
